Before I knew the truth, I was listening to what the Bible calls a familiar spirit. When an unexpected business opportunity opened up, I thought it was my own power at work. What I didn’t know was that the Christian businessman helping me was hearing from God. God had spoken to him about me and said, “You see that guy? He is so lost. He needs help.” I thought one power had opened the door—but it was a much greater power. It was the power of God that set it all up.

I thought becoming a millionaire would finally make me happy. But even with success, a family, and a great career, something was still missing—and one unexpected moment exposed the illusion I had been chasing.

There have been moments when saying “yes” wasn’t easy. When “yes” meant stepping into the unknown, risking criticism, and trusting God when I couldn’t see the outcome.
